We are also the trophy sponsor for the PGA 's Georgia Section, and a sponsor of the Southern Ohio and Kentucky PGA Sections. We are not only committed to providing the highest quality trophies and awards to the golf industry, but we are also committed to helping these sections and golf professionals grow and promote the game of golf. We are always interested in partnering with the PGA and their sections and are currently producing rings, money clips, blazer crests and custom awards for these sections as well as the PGA of America.
Corporate Giving
In addition to these sponsorships, Winner's Award Group is a sponsor and partner with hundreds of charitable organizations. We believe in good corporate citizenship and have instituted a policy whereby any not for profit organization who does business with us will receive a cash donation equal to 10% of the total order. Because we are concerned with helping any organization that is trying to make money, we don't want to just be another vendor that sells a product and moves on to our next order. Instead, we want to be partnered with these charities and will always donate a percentage of every sale back to their organizations.
Winner's Award Group understands first hand what is involved with helping those that are less fortunate as the company is a major sponsor and contributor to the owners of the company's foundation which is called The Chiera Family Foundation. The owners of Winner's Award Group and their Foundation have been actively raising money in memory of their father Nicholas R. Chiera who passed away from Cancer in 1989. The Chiera Family Foundation hosts a dinner/auction and golf tournament each year to help kids who are battling cancer attend a summer camp in Orlando, Florida. The American Cancer Society's R.O.C.K. Camp is the primary beneficiary of the foundation's fundraising efforts. To date, The Chiera Family Foundation has raised over $1.8 million dollars and has sent thousands of kids to a very special summer camp in Eustice, Florida. In addition to sending kids to camp, The Foundation is also enabling families dealing with cancer to attend a weekend retreat at Disney World. Finally, the Foundation now is providing over eight students who have beaten cancer the opportunity to attend the college and pursue their dreams with college scholarships.
